Chicago Calumet IMF Service Road Temporary Closure

ATLANTA, GA

Beginning Monday, March 4, a crossover switch will be installed in the Transportation yard parallel to our Chicago Calumet Intermodal Facility located at 2040 East 106th Street Chicago, IL 60617.

 

The construction will restrict access to the internal service road within our Calumet IMF that leads to the CO lot. This road is highlighted in yellow on the attached map. The temporary inability to use this road will prevent access to the CO lot directly from the main terminal. As a result, all drivers accessing the CO lot are directed to use the 103rd Street entrance and exit while construction is ongoing.

 

The installation project is estimated to occur through Monday, March 10. No shipment departure or availability delays are expected as a byproduct of the construction. Drivers should obey all signage, maintain safe speeds and be aware of construction crews and vehicles while on the facility.
